How To Register As Member TrueMoney

  1. Download Member TrueMoney Indonesia from Google Playsotre.
  2. Select "Registration"
  3. Complete your personal data: Names, ID Number (KT/SIM/PASSPORT/KITAS or KITAP for foreigner), Address, and the other information accordingly.
  4. Upload picture of yourself and picture of your ID (KTP/SIM/PASSPOR/KITAS or KITAP for foreigner)
  5. You will receive SMS containing an OTP code (One Time Password), input the OTP code in you application.
  6. You will receive a notification that your registration is received.
  7. You will receive SMS containing of your username and Password (PIN)
  8. Log in into your TrueMoney apps using your Username and Password.
  9. Pending to verification, your account is ready to use as a "Regular Member" that you can only perform Purchase and Payment only, and your balance is limited to Rp. 2 millions.
  10. Premium Member, once your account is successfully verified, your balance is increased up to Rp. 10 million, and you will be able to perform money transfer and also able to withdraw your balance (Cash Out)

HOW TO KNOW YOUR ASSIGNED BANK ACCOUNT FOR TOP UP PURPOSE

  1. Log in to your Member TrueMoney Apps
  2. Select button "Isi Saldo" (Top Up)
  3. Select "BRI Bank"
  4. Your Virtual Account number is an assigned bank account number for you in BRI.

(An account number in BRI is automatically assigned for you by TrueMoney, to enable top up using bank transfer, even though you are not a BRI customer)

HOW TO TOP UP YOUR TRUEMONEY BALANCE VIA BANK TRANSFER

  1. Select "Transfer Bank/Transfer Bank Online" from your ATM or Internet Banking Menu, applicable from any bank of your preference.
  2. Select "Bank BRI" as your beneficary bank.
  3. The beneficiary account is your BRI virtual account number as assigned by TrueMoney, the format is

  1. Once bank transferred is completed, your TrueMoney balance will be automatically top up.

 

How To Top Up From Alfamart, Alfamidi, and TrueMoney Agent

  1. Go to the nearest Alfamart, Alfamidi, or Agent TrueMoney location.
  2. Inform the cashier that you wish to Top Up your TrueMoney Account.
  3. Give your mobile number and the amount you wish to top up.
  4. Hand over the amount to the cashier and keep your transaction receipt.
  5. Check your top up balance using your TrueMoney application.

  1. What services can I do from the TrueMoney Member application?
    You can send money to various bank accounts in Indonesia, or send money to be collected in cash at Alfamart, this is very useful if the recipient of your destination does not have a bank account or cannot access banking services.


    You can also do remittances to various overseas bank accounts, or send money to an electronic money account abroad or send money to be withdrawn overseas (cash pick up).

    In addition, TrueMoney services allow you to pay various electric bills & electricity tokens, water bills, top up mobile phone credit, internet, loan installments, pay BPJS, apply for money loans, pawn goods, buy insurance, buy and save gold, buy games vouchers, buy train tickets, shop at merchants, and more.

  1. How much is the cost of sending money via the TrueMoney Member application?
    Send money to a bank account in Indonesia, costs only Rp. 11,500 per transaction - and will be received in real time.


    Send money to Alfamart, costs Rp. 20,000 for the total shipment up to Rp. 1,000,000 and the cost of Rp. 30,000 for shipments above Rp. 1,000,000 - shipments will also be received in real time and can be collected in cash throughout the Alfamart network in Indonesia.

    Send money to fellow TrueMoney accounts are only charged Rp3,500 per transaction and will also be received in real time.

    Send money abroad varies depending on the service you choose and the amount of money you send, but all these details will be available to you, when you have determined your destination country,  the service you choose and the amount of money you send, including the value applicable exchange rate.

    Please select the "Transfer" menu then select the "Send Money Abroad" menu or “Kirim Uang Luar Negeri”  then select the country destination, select the method of sending money (send cash / send to bank account / send to electronic money), the amount of your shipment and fill in the details of the recipient of your money transfer .

    TrueMoney will provide information on the exchange rate and shipping costs for the service you choose.

  3. How Much the Limitations of Money Transfers through the TrueMoney member Application? 
    The TrueMoney member application is an electronic money service and is subject to Bank Indonesia regulations, where the maximum allowable balance is Rp.10 million (your total shipment + maximum shipping costs Rp. 10 million / transaction) and the maximum accumulated monthly balance is limited to Rp. 20 million per month. 


  4. Does the TrueMoney application have to use an Indonesian mobile number?
    It can be an Indonesian mobile number or phone number abroad, the TrueMoney member application can be downloaded via Google PlayStore (android) using a local HP number in the local country. Your mobile number automatically becomes your TrueMoney account number. Transaction confirmation (OTP code) - if needed, will be sent to the registered HP number.


  5. What if I change my telephone number? 
    You must create a new account with the new phone number, your can move your balance from the old account to your new account number, by selecting "Transfer" then select "Transfer to True" then enter the new account number as the destination for send money. 

  6. What if my phone is lost? 
    Your account remains safe because TrueMoney accounts are protected by confidential passwords that only the account owner knows. Therefore, never give the TrueMoney password and OTP code to anyone including the TrueMoney officer. 

  7. How to reactivate a TrueMoney Account, if I change my cellphone? 
    You must still use the same phone number on your new device, then download the TrueMoney application, TrueMoney will send the OTP code to your mobile number  every time you replace a new device, then log in / sign in use your account number and password. 

  8. What if my cellphone is lost and I also can't use the same cellphone number with my old cellphone number? 
    Pelase contact TrueMoney Customer Service at: 0804 1000 100 and make the news of the loss. TrueMoney will verify your data first, and if successful your account will be moved to new account with a new mobile number, your balance will also be transferred to your new account, including other balances such as gold savings balance, or if you are currently in the process of applying for a loan using an old account, the withdrawal of funds will be transferred to your new account. 

  9. Are foreigners allow to download TrueMoney application and register as a TrueMoney member? 
    You can, but the account status is limited to being a "Regular Member" with certain facilities, namely: unable to send money and cannot withdraw the balance, the account can only be used to pay bills, buy credit and shop at merchants only. The balance limit is only limited to Rp.2 million, with a maximum monthly transaction of Rp.20 million. 


  10. What if foreigners want to have a TrueMoney "Premium Member" account? 
    Foreign citizens are allowed to become "Premium Members" TrueMoney if  they have a KITAS (limited residence permit) or KITAP (permanent residence permit). 

  11. What is the difference between "Regular Member" and "Premium Member"? 
    Premium members have a larger balance limit of IDR 10 million, with max limits. Rp.20Jt monthly transactions (accumulated transactions). Premium members can also withdraw their account balance and can do "Send Money" services. To become a premium member, you must register first and provide data such as ID / Driving License / Passport / KITAS / KITAP by uploading the photo of the document in the TrueMoney application, uploading a Selfie Photo and being verified by TrueMoney before you can be "Premium Member". 

  12. Is there any charge to  be a TrueMoney member? 
    There is no charge fee, except fees when making transactions, for example the cost of sending money transactions, bill payment fees, etc. 

  13. If I am Abroad, how can I "Top Up" or fill in my TrueMoney balance? 
    You can top up the balance by transferring funds to the BRI Bank (Bank Rakyat Indonesia) account that has been determined for you. This account is a virtual account that has been prepared by TrueMoney for you, even though you are not a customer of the BRI bank. 

  14. How can I know my BRI bank account? Please click on the menu “Isi Saldo” or  "Fill in balance"  then click on the "Bank BRI" logo there. You will see your BRI Bank Virtual Account number, consisting of 10476 + cell phone numbers (TrueMoney account numbers). This is your account number at BRI Bank which is prepared for you by TrueMoney. 

  15. Then how do I fill in the TrueMoney balance using the BRI bank account? 
    You can come to a money transfer service agent in your country, which can serve money transfers to a bank account. Tell the officer at the money transfer agent that you want to transfer funds to a BRI bank account in Indonesia, with your destination account number  at BRI bank as stated above, namely account number 10476 + cell phone number (TrueMoney account number), make sure (please check back) to the money transfer officer, that the name of the account holder listed on the agent's money transfer system is your name.

  16. How much is the cost of Rupiah exchange rate and how fast the funds will be included in your TrueMoney balance? 
    Each money transfer agent can determine the cost of sending money to a BRI bank in Indonesia, how much the Exchange Rate from the currency in your country to Rupiah, and how fast the funds are received at the BRI account. TrueMoney does not regulate this, please specify the cheapest service, the best exchange rate and the fastest delivery according to your choice. 

  17. How do I know the funds I have sent successful going to my TrueMoney balance?
     If the money transfer to the BRI bank account has been successful, then your TrueMoney balance will automatically increase according to the amount of funds that you send to the BRI Bank account. You can check balances by opening the TrueMoney application, the balance listed on the top left of your screen "Your balance" or you can also click the "Transaction Mutation" button in the bottom column of the application and you can see the transaction history on that menu. 


  18. I have sent money through a money transfer agent, but my TrueMoney balance has not increased? 
    In general, money transfer agents have a different standard of speed in sending money to bank accounts in Indonesia, ranging from 1 hour or even one day. You must first confirm with your money transfer agent, how fast their money transfer service is to a bank account in Indonesia. If it turns out that up to the time limit promised, your money or your balance still does not increase, then you must contact the remittance agent again and confirm the next step with them. If they have confirmed that the money has been successfully sent but your balance still does not increase, please contact TrueMoney customer service, accompanied by proof of the money transfer to be able to do further checking. 

  19. My money transfer agent cannot send money to a BRI bank account or they cannot enter my BRI Bank account number because it is too long?  
    Some money transfer agents limit the destination bank account number to be shorter than your BRI bank account number. Some money transfer agents also do not have a service that allows them to send money to BRI bank accounts in Indonesia, in this case please find another money transfer agent.
